Hey Vegas again, just thought I'd put my latest photo out there. Look at me in my fancy new Halti! My foster mom has been working hard to make me into a gentleman on the leash. we've tried a choke chain, pinch collar and now the Halti. I'm doing much better with the Halti. I still like to pull a bit but this new thing on my head stops me. Foster mom says I'm very smart and very brave too! We've had lots of storms and I don't show any signs of being afraid of thunder. I'm so cool! Well, gotta go, talk to ya soon!!!

All about Me!!
Hey there,
I'm Vegas! I'm a 1 1/ 2 year old male. I live with my foster family in Ontario, Canada. I'm fun to be around, my foster mom says I'm very playful. I like walks, but they say I need to learn not to pull so much, but we're working on that together every day. I play ball and love to jump and catch. Stuffed toys are my favorite and mom says they keep me from taking her slippers.
I do well in a crate and I'm also good when left alone. I love to follow my foster mom around the house, and I get along with my foster kids too. Cats are fun to chase and bark at so I'm not sure I should be with them. I don't counter surf but I am an extremely good vacuum cleaner, sucking up anything that falls to the floor.
I love to cuddle up and just veg out at the end of the day. I'm full of life (maybe a bit pushy) and have lots to offer my forever family. Vegas

What my foster mom says about me!!
He LOVES stuffed toys and has to chew them upside down on his back. Its really cute and he could spend hours in this position, but only stuffed toys, everything else (rawhides, rope toys, etc..) are chewed in the normal way on his stomach.
He does have a prey drive for cats and will seek them out even when not in sight. He has a great sense of smell.
His great sense of smell is put to good use on walks as he will pick up a sent and follow it like a bloodhound, nose to the ground, crouching and zigzagging with the sent for quite a ways. He doesn't just sniff a bit of everything and move on, he follows one sent intensely
He loves to give hugs!!! If I'm sitting on the couch or in a chair he will put one paw on one shoulder and the other paw on the other shoulder and snuggle his head next to mine. He seems to HAVE to hug this way, he really likes to give hugs like a human. He's not just jumping up, he's gentle and deliberate when he does this!
He really enjoys being outside but prefers to be there with someone. He sometimes hesitates to go out for a pee without me stepping out of the house so he knows I'm coming with him. He'll stay out happily for hours if I'm gardening or something. He doesn't bark at the neighbours dogs and is very quite unless he's alerting us of company.
He is very well housetrained and has not had any accidents.
He will crate up well and doesn't cry or whine. However, he would rather not go in there. He is crated most days for a few hours while we are at work or running errands however he doesn't get crated at night, he sleeps with us on his dog bed and he respects that he can't sleep in our bed. We have left him alone for a few hours to run free in the house and he has been very good.
He never tries to get up on the couch until later at night, then he needs his cuddle time and curls up on my lap.
